Día de los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead, is a tradition that has been practiced for more than 3,000 years in Mexican culture. It’s a time when we remember and honor loved ones who have passed. While some may think this holiday is a gloomy one, it is the complete opposite. It’s a celebration that takes place over the course of two days and involves many rich cultural elements that will vary depending on the region of Mexico.
The event of the year arrived in full force on November 2.
The night was simply spectacular, full of energy and excitement. We have the presence of Lesly Reynaga & Band giving rise to a magical night.
But that was not all. We also had the opportunity to enjoy the incredible performance of Guadalupana Aztec Dancers of Austin, their elegant and precise movements left us with our mouths open, turning the night into a magical and mythical moment.
It was really impressive! A mystical and dignified evening to honor our dead.
